IAPT stands for 'Improving Access to Psychological Therapies'. According to the IAPT website (www.iapt.nhs.uk), IAPT is: "...an NHS programme rolling out services across England offering interventions approved by the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for treating people with depression and anxiety disorders..."
